We believe in a world where women can run businesses on a level playing field – without having to overcome barriers that man rarely face. To advocate for such world, we need robust data on the challenges that women entrepreneurs encounter and the support they need to thrive.

This is why we’re running our flagship annual research survey, in partnership with Intuit and the World Bank’s Women, Business and the Law project. If you are a woman running a business in a low or middle income country, we want to hear from you.

This year, we’re focusing on how women entrepreneurs use – or don’t use – Artificial Intelligence (AI). We want to know:

  • Whether you are using AI or not
  • What is stopping you from using AI more effectively
  • What skills and training would help you run and grow your business with AI.

Access training and win prizes!

By filling out the survey, you can get access to special bonuses:

  • Get access to the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women’s ‘Growth toolkit’ to boost your business. This is an online training covering issues such as market positioning, marketing strategy, introduction to financing and balancing your business and family.
  • You can also enter our draw to win one of ten prizes, each worth $100 USD, to be delivered as a digital voucher, with exact vouchers to be agreed with the winners. Read full Terms and Conditions of the prize draw here.

About the survey

  • The survey should take around 15-20 minutes.
  • It is completely anonymous.
  • You can complete it in English, and Arabic, Hindu, Urdu, Swahili, French or Spanish versions will be added shortly.
  • You can be running a business of any size and in any industry, in any low or middle-income country. It doesn’t matter if you are a new entrepreneur or if you have been in business for years.

How we will use your responses

Every year, we conduct research on the most pressing issues facing women entrepreneurs across the world. It provides us with a robust foundation to build our advocacy work with governments, international organisation and the private sector.

We will publish the results of the survey in a major report for International Women’s Day in March 2026. It will have clear recommendations for international and national decisionmakers from governments, international organisations, financial institutions, private corporations and everyone who might play a role in breaking down the barriers that hold women entrepreneurs back. We will also use the findings to inform our own programmes and services, ensuring they are tailored to meet the specific needs of women business owners.

We encourage you to share the survey widely with other women entrepreneurs – we need as many voices as possible!

Thank you very much for your time.

Deadline for filling out the survey is Sunday 26 October.

Your input will be incredibly valuable.
